SECTION 1

THE
SELLOUT

In the hazardous waters of American race politics, a particular danger
shadows the successful black American who achieves status and acclaim
in mainstream society. Too much approval from “white” society quickly
yields suspicions of racial treachery. The black “sellout” suffers a
form of cultural banishment—a cruel psychic punishment for an
ill-defined crime.

SECTION 2

THE FOUR
TYPES OF
BLACK
SELLOUTS

The four types of Black sellouts are often discussed in various contexts,
including political, cultural, and social discussions. These types are
often characterized by their loyalty to different groups or ideologies,
which can be seen as a form of betrayal to the Black community.

Here are the four types of Black sellouts:

Uncle Tom:

A stereotype of a Black person who is overly submissive, overly sentimental,
and overly apologetic, often used to justify the oppression of Black people.

Uncle Rukus:

A Black person who is overly sentimental and overly apologetic, often used
to justify the oppression of Black people.

Black MAGA:

A Black person who supports the Republican Party and its policies, often
seen as a sellout to the Democratic Party.

Black Immigrants:

A Black person who is an immigrant and often seen as a sellout to the
Black community.

These types are often used in a derogatory manner to criticize Black individuals
or groups for their loyalty to certain ideologies or groups. It is important to
note that these types are not representative of all Black individuals and that
there are many Black people who are not sellouts.
